Persepolis Blog#1

Persepolis is a childhood memory about a girl named Marjane Satrapi however, she still has lost of doubts. The thing she really didn't understand is why she had to wear a black veil. The reason why she had to wear it was because her and the rest of the girls were treated differently. She wanted to be a prophet because she wants to be the same. Her dad has a Cadillac, he maid doesn't eat with her and above all, her grandmother's knees always ached. Castro was a Communist and has no mercy. She learned that her grandfather used to a prince.

Concieve it. Believe it. Achieve it.

There is a lot of great reasons why I chose this 6 word memoir. Hopefully what I am about to write motivates every single person, that they are able to fight against any obstacle. I think that everything is possible, however nothing is free nor given to us. Conceive, think about what you are going to do and tell yourself that you are better than that and also that you are going to achieve it. Believe, if have a positive mentality and you feel confident of what you want, you have to believe and you will achieve. Finally, Achieve, I just want people to know that their is no rush to greatness. I want to be a professional soccer player and hopefully god gives me the strengh because one thing for sure is that, I conceive it, I do believe in it and the most important is that I will achieve it. I will be successful.

The Whale Rider

Image Detail

This is a really interesting movie with lots of drama. I like the fact that it is very emotional and that all of the characters are very brave. Also i like that fact that i took place in the eastern coast of New Zealand. The role that Keisha Castle-Hughes which is Pai is very amazing. She is a little brave girl fighting against all the obstacles life puts in front of her. She loves whales along with her grandfather Koro however, he is very stubborn. The thing that I most like is that she is a great acter with a nice theme behind the movie.
